The LFI-128 Fiber Optic Illuminator is based on an array of 128 Super-Bright white LED's and a computer micro-controller The unit creates animation in fiber optic displays without using motors, animation wheels, or any other moving parts by sequential illumination of the LED's in the array.
Animation options include speed, direction, intensity, and other parameters as directed by the user programming. Animation data is stored in non-volatile FLASH memory when programming is complete. Fiber optic displays of any size may be created by combining illuminator modules in series or in parallel using the inputs and outputs provided.
Illuminators may be operated by a show control system for precise control of display timing, or may be set up for free running animation in stand alone fiber display applications.
